As subscribers of our Newsletter already know, our 38th Race of Champions at Daytona has been changed to a 3-Day Event with the addition of the AMA Road Race Grand Championships. Pre-Entry for all classes is now open and forms have been added to our Daytona page!
In brief, the tentative schedule will look like this:
After much consideration, management has decided to cancel the Palm Beach event originally scheduled for Sept. 25-26, 2021.
"The expenses to run at this track simply outweigh the income based on the number of pre-entries received thus far." said Kevin Elliott today. "We hope to be able include Palm Beach on our schedule in the future."
BHF track management has issued a new COVID-19 Protocol to take affect immediately:
"Everyone entering the Medical Building at Blackhawk (regardless of vaccination status) will be issued a face mask. All participants must wear a face mask at all times in the Medical Building."
Evolve GT Race Training will host a Practice Day at PBI on Friday Sept. 24th.
"We have been in contact with the New Jersey State Police Racing Unit regarding the use of Snell SA/M 2010 helmets for the 2021 season, especially due to the delay in 2020 Snell rated helmets."
"The NJ State Police are sticking to their original "expiration date" and will no longer allow the use of 2010 helmets."
"Only SA or M 2015 and SA or M 2020 helmets will be accepted at New Jersey for the 2021 season."
The last time ASRA Team Challenge riders will use the MyLaps transponders will be during the Daytona 200 in March 2021.
We are now accepting License Applications for our 2021 CCS and ASRA events. (Please visit our FORMS page to download the License Applications)
For those wanting to renew and keep their same number, the deadline is January 4, 2021 at 5pm Central Time.
For those that would like to change numbers, we will hold your existing number for you if received prior to January 4th. Then, after processing all the renewals keeping existing numbers, we will process the number change requests in order of receipt.
If you are applying for the first time, after a lapse in licensing or after the January 4th deadline, your competition number will be assigned in order of receipt.
New number assignments should be available after Jan 8 to ensure snail mail gets processed from Jan 4th. Printing and mailing of your new License cards should be completed in early February.
We hope to have the 2021 Schedule of Events finalized in January, but all dates are always subject to change. We will make a separate announcement when Online Pre-Entry through our Racer Portal is open for 2021 events. In the meantime, you may download and print standard 2021 Pre-entry Forms from our Forms page (for mailing, fax or email).
As a reminder, access to enter 2021 events (by either method) is only available to those that have signed up for a 2021 License by mailing it in with an original signature.
If you need to get portal access set up, please email info@CCSracing.us with your preferred username. For ASRA Team Challenge teams please email us and we can activate your 2021 access. (It is not automatic like it is for sprint races.)Back to Top
