9/20/17 - Press Release

The Championship Cup Series/Florida Region is forced to cancel their October 7-8 event scheduled at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. This cancellation is due to Hurricane Irma and the affect it had on many CCS/Florida competitors and their families.

The series returns to Homestead on December 2-3 for the season finale.

September 1, 2017 - The 34th Annual Race of Champions pre-entry is officially open and this link will take you to the official entry, camping and garage rental forms along with the Official Event Schedule. If you'll look at the schedule, you'll see that the Race of Champions also includes the final events for the AMA Sanctioned ASRA Sprint Series presented by Pirelli Tire and the 55-lap ASRA Team Challenge presented by Michelin Tire.

For the CCS National Championships, your first class pre-entry is $130, each additional class is $95. As in the past, the first CCS pre-entry includes your Hot Pit Credential, a $65 value.

For those who choose to post enter the event, it will be $100 per class plus you will have to purchase a credential.

Please remember all (ASRA & CCS) participants must have a current AMA Membership since this is an AMA Sanctioned event.

Pre-entry fees for the ASRA Sprint Series will remain $95 per class and DOES NOT include your credential. (Hint: Pre-enter a CCS class too and get your credential included!)

ASRA Team Challenge pre-entry will be $175 per class, this entry will not include any credentials. Teams should remember that all riders must arrive and sign in before practice ends on Saturday to be eligible to race. Team Challenge registration closes at 9:00am Friday. (Please remember the Team Challenge requires a MyLaps transponder.)

Credential fees for the event are $65 on Thursday, $60 on Friday, $50 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday.

For those wishing to practice on Friday, contact Team Hammer at (951) 245-6414 for entry in the October 20th practice and Advanced School event.

Following the weekend of racing, we will host our National Awards Presentation Ceremony in the Drivers Meeting Room on Sunday the 22nd of October. This ceremony is free to anyone who has an event credential. National Champions Presentation to start 60 minutes after the last checkered flag for the weekend.

We have made arrangements at Gingerman for included camping for this year, electric will still be on a pay as needed/available basis.

The pricing for admission will be:

  • Fri until 7am Sat $40
  • Sat 7am until Sun 7am $30
  • Sun 7am $20

Also note the gate fees for Gingerman have changed slightly and are not correct on the Tentative Schedule posted earlier.

June 28, 2017
Fort Worth TX

It has come to our attention that the schedule for the July 1-2 ASRA/CCS/CRA event contains a typographical error concerning Friday Registration and Tech hours. Instead of reading "7:00pm Gates/Registration/Tech Open" it should read "5:00pm-7:00pm Gates/Registration/Tech Open". In recognition of the confusion this may cause, the American Sportbike Racing Association is altering the hours on Friday June 30th to be "5:00pm-8:00pm Gates/Registration/Tech Open" with a special credential only window open until 10:00pm for late arrivals.

Please keep in mind that paddock move-in ends at dusk per the Road America policy so please schedule your arrival accordingly. For complete Road America rules and camping information, go to and follow the links to the Road America Track page.

A special reminder for STT competitors that are requesting a refund of the weekend portion of your credential. You must come to the refund window with your wristband still on to be removed by ASRA/CCS personnel to receive the $25 refund. Riders who bring multiple wristbands that have been removed prior to reaching the refund window will not receive a refund.

On behalf of the Central Roadracing Association, Championship Cup Series and American Sportbike Racing Association we hope that everyone has a great Independence Day wherever your travels take you.

June 8, 2017 - According to information we received today from Henry DeGouw of CCS Florida, beginning immediately, all CCS riders should send practice and pre-entry fees to him as in the past, and not to Legacy Track Dayz as previously announced.

"We will continue to run our practice with Legacy track day/riders school practice sessions", said Henry. "For all future events, CCS licensed riders should send practice and pre-entries to me." The pricing remains the same.

We have made the changes on both schedules (Florida and Nationwide) as well as the Homestead venue page.

On Sunday morning, May 14, Henry DeGouw officially announced that CCS Florida will be partners with Legacy Track Dayz, and that Legacy will be taking control of the Saturday practice and the road racing school before the June, July, August and October race weekends at Homestead.
