HOMESTEAD RACE OF CHAMPIONS ANNOUNCEMENTS
October 11, 2010 - The Championship Cup Series has issued some important announcements regarding their Race of Champions event this weekend at the Homestead-Miami Speedway.
INFIELD CAMPING AVAILABLE FOR SELF-CONTAINED UNITS:
Responding to requests from racers, Homestead-Miami Speedway informed us today that infield camping during our R.O.C. event will be allowed for self-contained campers and motorhomes only.
The cost will be $25 per night for electric hookup from Thursday night, Oct. 14th, through Saturday night, Oct. 16th. No other facilities will be available, so each unit must be self-sufficient.
Extra security has been obtained for those nights, but it is strongly suggested that garage renters lock up their equipment and tools before exiting each night.
LOCATION CHANGED FOR AWARDS PRESENTATION:
The Race of Champions Trophy presentation, originally set to be held in the Champions Club, has been changed to the Drivers' Room lounge located in the paddock area.
Festivities will begin approximately one hour after the last checkered flag. Awards will be presented to all who have won National Championships in CCS classes as well as in the Michelin Pro Series ASRA Pro and Team Challenge.
All racers, crew and staff are invited to congratulate the winners and in celebration of a great 2010 season.

UPDATE (Aug 25)
CCS Announces Venue and Date Change
for Final Great Plains Event
Fort Worth, TX – The Championship Cup Series would like to announce the the final points race for the Great Plains Championship Series will be moved to the September 25-26 event at Blackhawk Farms Raceway as a result of the cancellation of the final round at Heartland Park-Topeka.
"We hope that by making the decision quickly and getting the announcement out there that it will enable all our racers in the Great Plains Championship to alter their plans accordingly." stated Kevin Elliott, Director of Operations for ASRA/CCS. "As soon as we got the word from Heartland Park management, we were in contact with the racers who had planned to be at that event to see what they wanted to do. The riders we contacted overwhelmingly requested the chance to have their final race of the season. even if it meant sharing the spotlight with the CCS Mid-West Championships at Blackhawk Farms Raceway."
Blackhawk 9/25-26 will be Double Points for both Great Plains and Mid West riders.
Changes to Upcoming CCS Raceday Schedules at Blackhawk Farms
August 5, 2010, Fort Worth, Texas - The Championship Cup Series would like to announce changes to upcoming races at Blackhawk Farms Raceway scheduled for August 21-22, 2010 and September 25-26, 2010.
With permission from Blackhawk Farms Raceway, the schedule has been changed to move the traditional Test-N-Tune from Friday to Saturday with all Championship Cup Series events to take place on Sunday. The mounting pressure of the current economic situation has forced CCS and Blackhawk Farms to accept this change in an effort to keep both programs viable through the recession.
Those entrants who have pre-entered based on the three day event schedule will be given special consideration to modify their registration until August 13, 2010 at 5:00pm Central Time.
New Jersey Postponed Races to Run at Summit Point
The Schedule for Summit Point August 28-29 has been revised to include the 5 races which were postponed at New Jersey due to weather conditions.
Grids posted at New Jersey for these races will be used. No additional entries can be accepted.

March 25, 2010
"The Championship Cup Series of Florida motorcycle road races scheduled at the Palm Beach International Raceway May 30-31 and July 31-August 1 have been moved to the Homestead-Miami Speedway. The change in venue was due to the CCS/Florida required additional safe barrier not being delivered in time for these events.
As previously posted, the May 1-2 PBIR event is cancelled and will not be replaced."
Daytona International Speedway has advised us of some important changes to where you must park for your first trip to Registration, so everyone please take note!
Per email received from Daytona today (2/18):
"With the addition of the flat track in our West Lot, we will need to stage your competitors on the old Dog Track property. You will still be utilizing the ticket booth at the top of the tunnel but they will just park and walk from the east side rather than from the west."
"Gate 40 will still be open and they can use it to go in and out of the facility after they have registered."
This only effects the Staging Area - our Registration is in the same location. On the below map, drive in where it says "Gate 32 Entrance". After parking, it is a short walk to Registration.
Note that the CCS portion of the Schedule on this map is wrong. Use our official Tentative Schedule instead.
ATTENTION MidWest & Great Plains riders!
Please mark your calendars.
